LEXPATENT LLC experts held a seminar on "Protection of Exclusive Right to Invention in Pharmaceutics"

On 6 December 2024, at the invitation of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AMFP), Galina Vashuk, Head of Patent Practice of LEXPATENT LLC, patent attorney of the Republic of Belarus, and Darya Lando, PhD in Law, Head of Legal Department of LEXPATENT LLC, held a seminar on "Protection of Exclusive Right to Invention in Pharmaceutics".

During the meeting special interest was aroused by the issues of identifying infringement of the exclusive right to an invention, choice of strategy and methods of defence of the exclusive right to such an intellectual property object. The participants of the seminar discussed the current practice of pre-trial settlement of patent disputes in the field of pharmaceuticals and the practice of judicial review of disputes involving AMFP members.
